The first domestic trial of the distinctive course "TAYAL Pay" was held at Hsin-Kuang Elementary School in Hsinchu County from November 28th to 30th, 2022. For this event, Changfu Elementary School in Nantou County was invited to participate in the trial. Teams from Asia University of Science and Technology and Fu Jen Catholic University were also invited to join the course and engage in creative activities.

On the first day, the course mainly took place at Hsin-Kuang Elementary School and the surrounding community. Students learned basic photography skills and experienced Tayal culture and way of life. They also had the opportunity to experience traditional pounding of millet and the making of bamboo tube rice.

The second day involved an adventure course in the Jumul Forest of Zhenxi Fort, where the concept of traditional Tayal forest conservation was introduced. The curriculum also incorporated lessons on natural plants and organisms, and concluded with learning traditional Tayal weaving techniques.

On the third day, the course introduced organic farming in the Xinguang tribe. Students learned how to apply ancestral cultivation techniques along with modern organic farming methods to understand the importance of sustainable land conservation. The course concluded with a painting activity, allowing students to express their imagination and the elements that need to be preserved in the Xinguang community 20 years from now.
